Bio-Oil - Result

I said that I would keep you updated on how it went with the Bio-Oil,

As I wrote previously since the implant surgery my foreskin had become tighter and although not that uncomfortable the skin was less supple and had a tendency to become sore.

I have been using the oil for a few weeks now and it has made a marked difference to the look and feel of my foreskin. I put a tiny amount on in the morning after showering and smear it onto the foreskin only, there is not enough to mark any clothes and besides it is absorbed quickly.

Result = more comfortable and any redness and soreness around the foreskin has gone.

Just my tried and tested observation.

All the best for now.

Makes you wonder...

I came across this post on one of the erectile disfunction forums.

This is more or less the exact process that I followed prior to my implant surgery.  Whether it made a difference overall I'm not sure and I can only as always give my opinion but as I have said on numerous occasions I am now back to and beyond my pre-implant size.

Link to the site follows the report.

ABSTRACT
Introduction: The inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP) has been used to treat erectile dysfunction for 40 years. Loss of penile length following IPP remains the single biggest patient complaint. We describe a preoperative and postoperative patient preparation protocol to assist in setting realistic patient expectations and decreasing the complaint of reduced penile length. Materials & Methods: 750 Patients are instructed to use a vacuum erection device for 10 minutes each day for up to 2 months prior to IPP implant. After two months, maximization of cylinder length is accomplished regardless of IPP manufacturer. Cylinders are left partially inflated in the post-operative period and daily inflation for 3 months immediately upon patient tolerance. The average implanted cylinder length has increased dramatically with the preoperative vacuum usage when compared to the authors’ previous implantations and when compared to the national average of implanted cylinders obtained from one manufacturer. Results: Preoperative use of the vacuum device has allowed maximization of cylinder length. After the vacuum program, patients tend to experience less pain following implantation allowing earlier device instruction cycling and use. The average implanted cylinder length continued to increase annually for the first 5 years as the protocol evolved and seems to have remained stable for the last five years. Conclusions: Preoperative vacuum usage and postoperative capsule management has nearly eliminated patient complaints of reduced penile length. We believe this to be the result of larger size cylinders being implanted when compared to our previous implantations absent of the patient participation protocol.27133

Left-Handed Update

I never did manage to inflate successfully with my left hand.  Apart from not having enough strength to squeeze the bulb I did not have any control over it either.  Why I don't know because as I said at the time I am naturally left-handed, quite why I inflate with my right hand I don't know but there it is,

I hope that by the time I need help inflating if I ever do there will be other options - perhaps one day there will be a one press inflation or even better an App. Bit of a scary thought for someone who is always forgetting to lock his phone before it goes in his pocket - could be interesting...

On that thought I will let you get on.

Cheers for now.

Bio-Oil & My Foreskin

You will already have read about the changes in the texture, elasticity and comfort of my foreskin since my implant surgery earlier in the blog.

By using a variety of creams I have managed to keep it comfortable and not too much of a problem. However I am always trying different things and have again come across Bio-Oil.

I have used it in the past on the scar from my prostate surgery with some success but have recently used it on my foreskin. The difference has been quite dramatic and there has definitely been a change in the suppleness and comfort since I have been using it (just a smear seems to work).

I have only been putting it on for a couple of days - I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Cheers for now.
